We aim to treat all of our customers as we would like to be treated and we would like to keep these terms and conditions as simple as possible for you. Your statutory rights covered by the consumer protection law are not affected by anything here.
Should you be unhappy in any way with any aspect of the service or products you receive from us then please contact us and we will do everything reasonable to resolve any issues.
We do not share your data with any other company for any marketing purposes and will not do so. Information about you as a customer and the orders you have placed is held in our database. We can, if you require, supply a copy of all the data we hold about you and are happy to remove your details from our system should you request that we do so.
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
Placing Your Order
We will automatically confirm your orders receipt and confirm the dispatch of the order by email. We will contact you to confirm your personalisation details and to share with you proofs before we progress your order.
Once we receive your order, have confirmed any personalisation and had your approval on the proof, we will get it out into the post to you without delay.
If you have ordered a personalised item, please note the lead time associated with that purchase and look at our News page to see if there is any additional delays (especially at busy times of the year). Please ensure your email address that you use, you view regularly as we may use it to clarify your order with you. If you do not reply, this will delay your order.
If an item is urgent, do let us know and we will contact you to discuss options if we feel we are able to to meet your deadline.
We have made a decision not to offer a newsletter, we know how annoying they can be! If you had joined our newsletter list previously, we have deleted that list and Instead, if you wish to access our new products or our occasional discounts or sales, please join our group on Facebook. This way you have control over your joining or leaving.
Currently we use a Royal Mail as our mail postal service. We usually post first class signed for so you get your order quickly and safely.
We are currently reviewing our packaging as we want to move away from plastic to more sustainable packaging. Whilst we move across, please bear with us.
If you do not want us to use our remaining plastic for your order, please send an email to email@example.com or add a note to your order so we know. We may use recycled packaging unless you specify it is to be delivered direct to the recipient.
We will deliver to the address you specify when ordering; please ensure the postcode is correct as this can delay delivery.
Your order should arrive within a few days apart from busy times of year (i.e., Christmas). If you do not receive it, we will contact the Post Office to investigate on your behalf. Often postal workers can leave items near your front door, or with a neighbour if you are out, so please check around your entrance first. The Post Office should be able to investigate what has happened to the parcel.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
If you are unhappy with your purchase you can return an item to us. Within the EU, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within fourteen working days beginning the day after the date that the item is delivered. Please note we cannot accept returns of personalised items (dates, names etc).
It must be in its original condition and returned to us. Please call us or email us for a Returns Number and where to return it to. We recommend that you receive a proof of posting or send it by recorded delivery.
If you change your mind on receipt of an item, and the item is not personalised, please contact us within 3 days to advise you are returning the item (please more we are unable to accept personalised items returned as they are sold as unreturnable).
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 14 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days.
You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault – for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed. Any goods returned should be in saleable condition; refunds will be issued on all returns upon receipt back at Lalapalooza Gifts.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
Occasionally through no fault of our own, items may get damaged on route to you. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately. Take a photograph of the damaged item and the packaging and email them to us on firstname.lastname@example.org so we can assess the damage and discuss a resolution.
We will issue you a Returns Number and discuss arrangements for rectifying the problem. We will refund the delivery charges incurred in returning the item to us. We check all items returned to us and if we cannot find a fault, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item(s) and to recover any costs incurred in recovering it from you.
Please call or email us if you have a problem with an item that is defective. These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
